Top Awards’ Win for The Ken Blanchard Companies’ New SLII Experience

Despite having been on the market for just weeks, The Ken Blanchard Companies’ new SLII® Experience leadership programme has already scooped two top awards: a Gold MarCom Award and a Bronze Best in Biz award. The SLII Experience is an innovative new format for Blanchard’s Situational Leadership® II (SLII) programme, introduced to provide a fast-paced, results-focused learning experience where participants exercise their new skills in the classroom and leave prepared to immediately lead differently.

The MarCom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals and recognises outstanding creative achievement by companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. The Gold was awarded to Blanchard for The SLX Story in the Video/Film/Training category which was created to engage and entertain participants within the format of a modern television programme. While learning the essential leadership skills of SLII, the characters in the SLX Story play out realistic work situations illustrating the painful ramifications of not using SLII.

Meanwhile, a Bronze Best in Biz award was bestowed on Blanchard as is was judged to be a Best New Version of the Year in the product category. The third annual Best in Biz Awards programme was the most competitive so far, with more than 500 entries received from companies operating in North America.
